RIP Former PCB City Council Member Geoff McConnell

Statement from the city of PCB is below

The City of Panama City Beach is saddened to learn of the passing of former Councilmember Geoff McConnell. Mr. McConnell served on the Panama City Beach City Council from 2018 to 2022, and we are grateful for his dedication and service to our community. We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and worked with him.

Over the years, our team got to know Geoff fairly well. He was a great man who loved his kids, his country, and his community with all his heart. When others would hide from the fire, Geoff would run into it. 

Being a public servant is never easy, but like many, Geoff saw it as an extension of his military service. Words can never fill the void left by any passing, let alone one as untimely as Geoff's. 

Please keep his children in your prayers, RIP Geoff, you will be missed by all!!!
